About The Role

Kellett School is seeking a Head of Communications and Marketing to lead a coherent and forward-looking communications function that strengthens trust, understanding and belonging across the Kellett community.  This role will support the School’s reputation in Hong Kong and internationally and help ensure Kellett remains a compelling choice for prospective families and staff. Working closely with the Principal & CEO and colleagues across both campuses, the postholder will translate Kellett’s Mission, Values, Vision 2035 and educational priorities into clear, engaging and purposeful communication.


This is a strategic and hands-on role. The postholder will advise senior leaders, lead the communications team and personally contribute to important writing, editing, digital communication, media relations and reputation management.

About You

Kellett is seeking an individual with:
 
  • Substantial senior-level experience in communications, public relations, corporate 
    affairs, journalism, marketing or a related field, with a strong record of delivering 
    integrated communications across multiple audiences and channels.
  • Experience advising senior leaders on complex or sensitive matters, leading issues 
    and crisis communication, and supporting significant organisational change.
  • Excellent editorial judgement and a proven ability to produce clear, compelling and 
    accurate content.
  • Experience of brand stewardship, digital communication, media relations, audience 
    insight and evaluation.
  • Experience leading people, budgets, agencies and concurrent projects, with sound 
    understanding of data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding.
  • Understanding of schools, education or another values-led community organisation, 
    or the ability to develop this quickly.

Location: Kowloon Bay Campus, Bay Hub Sixth Form Centre and Pok Fu Lam Campus
