About The Role

Kellett School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced and well qualified Mathematics Teacher for our Senior School.

The Kellett Mathematics Department comprises a friendly, committed, strong and supportive team that strives for the highest outcomes for the students and works closely together to enable this. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and dedicated Mathematics teacher who is keen to demonstrate outstanding standards of teaching and learning, with a passionate, enthusiastic and dynamic attitude.

Mathematics is one of the most popular and successful subjects at Kellett and the department’s results are consistently amongst the strongest.  The successful applicant will teach across the full age range from Year 7 to Year 13, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that ignite curiosity and promote a love of learning.  We offer a modified version of the English National Curriculum in Key Stage 3, a three-year IGCSE programme from Years 9 to 11 and the International A Levels in Mathematics and Further Mathematics at Key Stage 5. Experience of and expertise in teaching A Level Mathematics would be desirable.  

Although not essential, we welcome applicants who have a demonstrated level of success in teaching Further Mathematics A Level and in preparing students for entrance into world-class universities. The department is very well-resourced, and applicants will have strong IT skills and a proven ability to use technology to support learning.

Kellett is a through-train school from Reception to Year 13 with two preparatory campuses and one senior campus. Student roll currently is 1558; Senior 749; KLB Prep 327; PFL Prep 482.
