About The Role

Kellett School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced and well qualified Chemistry & Science Teacher for our Senior School.The Chemistry department at Kellett School prides itself on being a collaborative team who are committed to delivering outstanding academic outcomes alongside nurturing confident, curious students who are well-prepared for their futures. 

The department delivers the IGCSE Edexcel Chemistry curriculum for Years 9-11and the Edexcel Linear A Level Chemistry course for sixth form students. 

We welcome applicants who can demonstrate that they are enthusiastic about teaching Chemistry and are skilled at inspiring and motivating our students. Applicants will be required to articulate the ways in which they are skilled at providing engaging, well-structured lessons that provide the support and challenge needed to guide every student towards attaining their academic and personal best. Successful applicants will also be individuals who possess an aptitude for working collaboratively towards the shared success of the department through enthusiastic contributions and compassion for their students.

Applications are invited from colleagues with a minimum of two years full time teaching experience in high achieving schools who can demonstrate a proven record of outstanding teaching and learning and secure understanding of the GCSE/IGCSE and A levels.

Kellett is a through-train school from Reception to Year 13 with two preparatory campuses and one senior campus. Student roll currently is 1558; Senior 749; KLB Prep 327; PFL Prep 482.
