Required Skills:
- Qualifications or experience in working with children with additional needs
- Be able to approach the role with an all-round ‘can do’ attitude, exemplifying kindness, patience, energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent spoken and written English skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and the wider school community
- Ability to work as part of a team and to be flexible in their approach to daily routines
- Confident in supporting intimate care when required
- Confident to advocate for, and safeguard, the child’s wellbeing and equity of access to the curriculum and school environment
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with Early Years/Pre School children
- Confident in supporting the development of reading skills through phonics
Terms and Conditions:
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (term time only) or can be otherwise specified.
Base : Kowloon Bay Prep, Kellett School
Working hours : Full time: 40 hours per week; Part time : 20 hours per week (actual work hours to be confirmed)
Fixed term contract with probationary period included, contract ends on 30 June every year, adjustable and renewable by mutual agreement.
